Yes. You might then be able to average 25mph on your commute instead of only 24mph ๐Ÿ™‚

Your legs do what you want.
I have no idea what performance benefit you expect from this.

It's September, time to cover the legs up anyway. Shave them in March.

To be honest you'll gain no advantage in racing on or off road. It's pure vanity unless you regularly receive deep tissue sports massage, then I would seriously recommend it.

The aerodynamic benefits are minimal. Think its something to do with hairs creating a turbulent air flow earlier which provides less drag in the case of the human leg form. Its why golf balls have dimples, so they go further.

So unless you're going to have sports massages etc then whats the point?

I like the hygene benefits of shaven legs. However mine are proper hairy and it looks like I'm wearing a pair of mud and hair trousers after an off road ride. When they're shaved they stay clean, and cuts and grazes clean up nicely.
It also helps when putting on suncream and I don't get as burnt.
And as I race I have to consider 'Le look'

Shave only one and see whether the differential drag tends to make you turn to one side.

There's f'all aerodynamic advantage, that's a load of bollocks!

It's easier for massage, if you use warm up oil or anything, it stops mud sticking to your legs, and it makes your legs look more toned. It's a fair bit of faff to keep them looking nice though, every day or two.

I tend not to bother this time of year so much, I'm not getting my legs out as much!

Bollocks to any pretend reason like massage, or aero, it makes them (your legs) just feel lovely ๐Ÿ™‚ and you look like a real bikie, even off the bike. Do it......in March, time to have a break from it now !!
