is the benfits worth it for racing etc, training on road?
I say yes, the G/F says no ( with deleted threats)
ha ha ha hahahahahahahaha go for it, dude
No. Especially not as its winter now.
Yes. You might then be able to average 25mph on your commute instead of only 24mph ๐
I won't touch them unless you do. You'll look like a lady boy ๐
You f'ing freak you already shave your chest and scrote start on your legs and you need to find new riding mates weirdo!
If you're a girl,yes.
A bloke,definitely a no.(Unless you're gay).
Yes, of course, shave them.
Why not?
once you start you wont stop... scrote, chest, eyebrows.
You'll look like an alien.
once you start you wont stop... scrote, chest, eyebrows.
erm.................... dont think i have anything else left to shave but my legs

its all about the aerodynamics. anyway, i'll be round about 9:15am tomorrow morning, meeting iain at half 10 at inners
Your legs do what you want.
I have no idea what performance benefit you expect from this.
guys, c'mon, its still the same old macho me, scratching balls, drinking beer* , chatting up the ladeezzzz
* for beer see lucozade sport
It's September, time to cover the legs up anyway. Shave them in March.
hair free is the way to go imo
Turn up shaved tomorrow and you will be buried on Minch Moor, you attention seeking sicko.
shave em and bang some baby oil on for the pro look
Bit late in the year, just do mine with no attachment on the shaver this timeof year for the cross.

Gawd blimey, MTFU and carry on wearing baggies until Novemeber.
it all looks goodwhen your zipping around in lycra on the bike but you look camp off it ๐
To be honest you'll gain no advantage in racing on or off road. It's pure vanity unless you regularly receive deep tissue sports massage, then I would seriously recommend it.
Real men epilate
Mohican, pubes and legs are last ๐
Go on you know you want to ๐
The aerodynamic benefits are minimal. Think its something to do with hairs creating a turbulent air flow earlier which provides less drag in the case of the human leg form. Its why golf balls have dimples, so they go further.
So unless you're going to have sports massages etc then whats the point?
I like the hygene benefits of shaven legs. However mine are proper hairy and it looks like I'm wearing a pair of mud and hair trousers after an off road ride. When they're shaved they stay clean, and cuts and grazes clean up nicely.
It also helps when putting on suncream and I don't get as burnt.
And as I race I have to consider 'Le look'
shave only one leg and you can pretend you're in bed with a lady.
Well do both and you can pretend to be having a mange tout.
Shave only one and see whether the differential drag tends to make you turn to one side.
There's f'all aerodynamic advantage, that's a load of bollocks!
It's easier for massage, if you use warm up oil or anything, it stops mud sticking to your legs, and it makes your legs look more toned. It's a fair bit of faff to keep them looking nice though, every day or two.
I tend not to bother this time of year so much, I'm not getting my legs out as much!
Bollocks to any pretend reason like massage, or aero, it makes them (your legs) just feel lovely ๐ and you look like a real bikie, even off the bike. Do it......in March, time to have a break from it now !!
