So I see this retro C'dale on pinkbike for £375. Nooiiicceeee, I think. I make some enquiries and gut instinct says, "I likey even more now". Then, the same bike appears on gumtree for £300. Ooohh. That was a week ago, now it's down to £210!!!!
I'd go round and have a look but my arm is in plaster until next Friday. I've let the blerk know this so he probably thinks I'm a mahoosive time waster.
So, in summary, worth a punt? or run away?

If its the same bike as the ebay one, then the one on Gumtree is a scam
guaranteed!
its always a scam with gumtree!
can't see it on ebay, or am I being fick?
how is the gumtree ad a scam? they have the same contact details.
yours sincerely
Mr. Naive Thicko
If he really wants shot of it, why reduce the pinkbike price to £350 and not £210 like gumtree?
am I right to be a bit suspicious?
i know beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but that is one fugly bike! up there with the Trek Y thing
love is blind.....just ask the missus
I've always assumed that anything on Gumtree is stolen.
But anyway, my SO had a Cannondale Jekkyl SL which was (at the time very nice), but it was the only bike that I've managed to get the rear wheel to come of the ground whilst cycling along the flat in a straight line.
