It's definitely cooler than the rainbow stripes. And is it actually on display in Sunderland? I lived there for most of my life (unfortunately) and I've never been in the Monkwearmouth Station Museum.

No, no it really isn't. Rainbow stripes are cooler than a very cool thing, which is why Rule #16 (respect the jersey) must always be adhered to.

It's one of the velominati 'rules' which some people insist is tongue in cheek, but others, (me included) think is absolute bullshit suggesting that some cyclists are more worthy than others.
