After a pair of shorts to wear over lycra shorts or long bibs. Need to be sturdy, have pockets and dry quickly. Preferably in a dark colour and coming in below £30. Any suggestions?

Pounds to the NZ $$ might give you something for the price you are after. I have tried many brands of baggies, but prefer my Nzo shorts over all others.

Try and get some "board shorts" they are usually study, dry fast and are pretty flexible/stretchy. They do lack pockets though. Try TK maxx as they always have a good selection at a good price.
