To cold for normal bibs, too warm for roubaix longs.
Roubaix shorts or normal longs, or 3/4's in either material?
Normal bibs + extra layers?
normal bib shorts and knee warmers
3/4 length bibs plus waterproof shorts.
Down south still wearing normal 3/4 shorts, roadie lycra underneath plus sealskinz - was wearing the same a lot int he summer ! When there is ice on the ground out come the endura thermolite's.
I'd just get roubaix leg warmers if I were you and use your normal bib shorts, or even just knee warmers if you find them too hot. Although I have 3/4 bibs I prefer the fit and pad in my regular bibs so so far this winter have just been using leg warmers with them (DHB ones, they aren't nearly as hot as insulated winter tights).
3/4's if the non Roubaix variety.
How's the pedal?

Gore 3/4s [full bibtights on a night ride]
Endura MT500 baggies
Endura Thermal.
I'm currently wearing my normal shorts but with some Ron hill running tights underneath. nice and warm ๐
shorts and knickers all year round.
maybe if it gets really parky I might put some 3/4 knickers on.
3/4 tights + waterproof shorts = warm knees & dry bum

Thats what I use for commuting this time of the year, just swicth to warmer 3/4 when it get chilly.
Thats for commuting/mountian biking, not on the road bike.
Same here. It's difficult this time of year to be warm but not to warm I find.boxfish - Member

I find my dhb Roubaix 3/4 bibs are perfect from about 4 degrees up to 12.
Below that, it's tights and above that it's shorts.

FUBAR, the hool-a-hoop bushing had worn down to paper thin! New ones ordered with needle bearings and a 5 year gaurentee.
