I'm building up a 26er for my daughter based on a small Spesh FSR and there isn't much room to fit a dropper, as the shock is in the way.
Any ideas? Shortest (overall) I've seen so far is about 35cm.
Brand-X do a CX dropper with 85mm drop but that's 35cm too.
[could be a shimmed 27.2]
Old KS 900s used to be about 300mm with 75mm drop. Think they're still available with a different name now.

What diameter? Could be interested for the lads bike (need's a 27.2).

(although you don't say what length it is, how cheap or what diameter)
Just to add another voice to KS answer:
I did the same searching for a mate a few months back. Funnily enough for the same frame as the OP (the 3 cm post adjustment limit on those frames is a PITA!). The only one I could find in anywhere near a 300 mm length was the 75mm drop KS offerings.
I'm personally not keen on the unserviceable, sealed cartridge solution of KS posts - £70+ each time it starts sagging which to be fair isn't often but...it appears to be the only option in that length.

It's a 27.2mm post and it's 330mm length the same as the one in the Bike-Discount link.
I'd do it for £50 posted if anyone's interested.
