Trying to fit a new shock to my frame. Have installed the hardware - but the eyelets don't sit level. The eyelet on the body of the shock is straight obviously - but the one on the end of the gold shaft is sitting a bit off level.
So how do i straighten it out ? I Can't mount the shock.

can't you just twist it slightly? I've done that before with no issues.

Mount the end that is twisted in the frame and then you should be able to straighten it

If its an air shock let out all the air and it should turn.
