[Closed] Shock woes, and Loco Awesomeness
Hello,
I bought a shock from Fleabay, stated as:
Brand New!
200x57!
Great, I thought - and no bids with 1 day left, ending at 7am on a Thursday. I'll snipe that then. Won it at a bargain price.
Arrived today, rebound doesnt work, the knob is binding, and the shock is not new. Quick email to Simon at Loco Tuning and he asks me to pop down to his workshop and he'll take a look (I live 30 minutes from there).
A good three hours later, muchos cups of tea and some minor swearing.... and Simon fixes it.. hurrah! Turns out the chap who sold it to me had tried to clean it up, but buggered it in doing so, plus there were some minor defects to the shock, which he fixed.
So.... three hours, and me imposing on Simon, stealing his tea and services.... charges me a ridiculously low sum. (given I dropped off a shock and some forks at the same time ๐ )
I'm off to Scotland for 4 days tomorrow, so I can't thank or say how awesome a service I receieved.
Cheers Simon, and to anyone who's shock or forks are a little grindy or bumpy... get in touch with Loco....

Got to second that, sorted out my Reba's that were useless.
Great guy to deal with.
