Anyone experience with running 10 speed SRAM chains on new Shimano 10 speed cranksets?
Any shifting problems on chainrings or cassette?
I know Shimano say use only their directional chains but always liked SRAM chains with their powerlinks for convenience.
Or can SRAM Powerlock connectors be used with Shimano 10 speed chains?
It's fine, although a Powerlock isn't any more convenient than a pin IMO.
FWIW I use KMC (X10SLs) with their Missing Link which is actually reusable.

Correct, Powerlocks are single use - you [i]can[/i] get them apart, but it's a real faff and they're not designed too. KMC ones work far better!
