E4’s from £132 at Winstanleys.
Awesome cheers, £132 front and £140 rear.
Maybe mine are broken but you have to properly yank them to really slow down on anything steep. This yanking over a long ride gives proper arm pump. For instance I really struggled on the bottom of Ponduro to control/have faith in the bike (which is probably part of the issue, if you know you can stop you are more likely to not stop??) whereas with previous Zees that wasnt a problem…
They are really sensitive to setup. If you don't get the pistons centred, and then decentred after installing the rotor, they can feel pretty poor.
Ive never found the last part on Ponduro to never have not enough power on E4s or V4s. I really don't feel like I'm yanking on them, they're pretty easy for me to lockup if I want to.
What's the deal/catch with that Winstanleys offer? It seems they've got none of them actually in stock, why offer a hefty discount on something you don't have that isn't normally ever discounted that much? Are Hope cool with them doing that? I'm really tempted at that price and I'm not in a hurry for new brakes. The 'if it's too good to be true it probably is' bell is ringing though...
Are they just trying to keep cash flow up?
If it makes a difference I just bled my front E4 using the hope kit and it was an utter joy. 🙂

Check anywhere else and very few places have stock - Hope (same as all other parts) are thin on the ground at the moment. If you want them urgently, you'll probably have to shop around and pay a bit more.
Actually bought some red ones a couple of years back for £115 at winstanleys, also on order, just a couple of days delay if I remember correctly, was gonna pick em up but they had already posted them before I rang.
Current covid issues will probably mean a bit of a wait though.
I got mine via winstanleys a few years back. The site isn't great at giving you update notifications but turn up they did.
