I've got a 9 speed XT triple chainset on my Superlight. I'm looking at changing to a 10 speed double. My question is are the 9 and 10 speed cranks the same? Can i just take the 3 9 speed rings off and put 2 10 speed ones on?
I'm thinking short cage XT shadow, 36 top ring cassette and slx 10 speed shifters. Not sure which bash ring to get but i don't want a really heavy one.
Also, how do the 9 and 10 speed xt shadows differ?
