Hi,
i'm looking for a bit of advice. How do shimano shoes (see below) compare with british shoe sizes? I am a size 11 (EU 45) normally, should i buy a size up (EU 46) ? Will this be extra space compromise efficiency of pedalling?
How are they for width? I'm in two minds between ....

I will be wearing sealskinz with these.
Cheers,

It's shoes. You need to try them on.
i can't. i work silly hours and can't get to a bike shop before they close. just wondering what people's experiences with them are...
I wear a size 41 in Specialized and 42 In shimano.
HTH
I'm shoe size 11 & ride size 46 summer Shimano M225 SPD & size 47 winter MW02 boots (to fit thick socks) but as stated trying is the only defo way to ensure a good fit.
Don't CRC do a free returns policy? Order both and keep the one that fits?
I wear a 12 in normal shoes (46) and wear size 48 Shimano M086 - All cycling shoes come up at least one Euro size smaller than normal shoes I've found.
I've got silly wide feet and have found the M086 to be nice and wide. Specialized are also good for width (I have size 48 defrosters too)
yeah i think they do, i'd just rather not go through all the fuss. i'll a 46 tonight and see what happens!
Always had to order one size up in Shimano (compared to other brands)
got a 47, perfect fit. thanks for the help!
i wear 46 in specilised and 47/48 (norm 48) in Shimano..
for ordinary shoes i'm a 46 so shimano you should go for bigger sizes
also depends on the shoe though shimano are quiet consistant with sizes between styles
