[#1084548]

Just about to buy some off of wiggle. None of my LBS sell them that I can get to before the £20 offer ends. My Spesh BG's are 43's. I know I should go a size up for thicher socks but are there anything dodgy about Shimano sizing??

Definitely go bigger. I normally take 46s for shoes but usually go for 47s for cycling but I needed 48s to be really sure of getting a decent winter sock on. They are a very good boot, i have even gone to the extent of putting SPDs on my road bike during the winter so my feet can remain toasty.

I dont have mw80s, but do have am50s. Normally wear a UK12 for normal shoes and trainers, but wear a size 48 for the am50s. Think that is 1 size up.

Order a size up from normal for definite.

I wear a 44 usually, in anything Shimano I have to wear a 45 otherwise I can't get my foot in!

I was given a pair for christmas last year but sadly they didn't fit and had to go back. Despite being the right size in numbers I reckon they were at least 2 sizes too small on my foot. I'd reckon therefore at least a 45, maybe a 46.

Defo at least 1 size up for Shimano shoes... I take a UK 9 but a 44 in Shimano shoes.

Don't forget to update your profile in wiggle for an extra fiver off code!

EDIT: Paid £100.69 from wiggle with the extra fiver off and free postage. 😀

I've just bought a pair - usually a size 11/46 - I tried on 47s and they were a bit tight - 48s are spot on with some thickish socks
I had them from Nelsons Cycles (cyclebasket.com) for £104 - they do mail order but I'm not sure what they charge to post
