Anyone use these pedals; Shimano M545 SPD Pedals ?
I currently run XT spd's, but I have a new bike and I was looking for something a little more beefy, not sure about going back to complete flatties...

I've not run those specifically, but I have run some spuds with small cages around them and found them terminally annoying, not as much grip as a normal flat and harder to get into with mud-caked spds, but I'd wait for those who have used them to comment.

I used a pair (not the above) many many years ago and found that they were a bit clunky/clumsy and eventually I gave up on them...
Just wondered if they were any better today...
