[Closed] Shimano M510 Derailleur

Hi

Doing my first trip to the Alps next week. I've been advised to take along a spare rear mech.

I currently have Shimano M510 Derailleur fitted, but having problems finding a replacement spare. Will the Shimano M531 be ok to use, i can see that CRC have them in stock.

Yeah, no problem, just check you the the same movement - I assume your current mech. is not Rapid-rise.

yes. the m531 is just an updated version. Worth taking a few spares if you have room/money as perhaps understandably, there are no knockdown prices on bike spares in bike resorts. Especially brake pads!!!

No, it's not the rapis rise.

We're driving there so taking spares won't be an issue.

Tubes, tools etc etc.

I'll order tonight from CRC - should be here Wed/Thurs
