I'm going for a budget rebuild by lifting all the bits off my hardtail and plonking them on to one of those Genesis Grapil frames to see how I get on with a FS
I'm going to need a longer hose for the rear brake (xt 765 ish), just didn't expect a bit of hose to cost me £20. I'll be looking at new brakes I think.. Then new wheels, forks.
Be a whole new bike before I know it.

Have a go at making your own and see if it costs you less than £20
