[Closed] Shimano chain question......

Usually i use sram or kmc but i've inherited a 10spd shimano chain and it has no special pin thingy....
can i use a sram or KMC split/power link to join the chain? Oh and another thing.... apparently the chain can only be used one way, how do i work out which is the correct way?

had a shimano 10spd chain lasted 4 rides..... KMC much better!!!
but yeah i joined the shimano chain with KMC links
