I've seen shims for these in the US to reduce the clamp from 31.8 - 28.6.
Neithe Wiggle nor CRC have them, can you suggest anyone that might.

I already have one of the wheel manufacturing shims, need another but the price has gone through the roof at sjs, anyone one know of an alternative/cheaper source?
LBS spares box, just about all new mechs come with them, very few require them though. Ask nicely and they may even give you a couple.
All the shimano ones I have do 34.9mm to 28.6, or 34.9 to 31.8,
I need 31.8 to 28.6 which seems harder to find......
Didn't read your post properly, will have a look in our box today as I think we may have some from a recent cheapo mech fit.
