I've just seen a short video of some north shore type trails at Sherwood Pines - how much work has been done on the skills loop/bike park, what sort of features are there and is it worth a visit ?

was shot over easter and you can see the guy (called fish i think) working on it.[/url] I am personally not brave enough to try the wood work as yet but i does look well made and i found it worth a trip but it would depend on how far and where you would pass on the way.

Mark b (SingletrAction?) We went to Sherwood Pines last week on a skills day. The XC red route is about 1 hour of pedally (no real hills) fun (worth doing and approx 8 miles). Whilst riding round the XC red route, There is a sort of Skills bike park to play in with a few different lines (actually not DH as there is no elevation, but with a wooden ramped start to give some speed). There was also a dirt jump area from grom to pro level. There was also some various skills lines with jumps etc (easy to miss unless you see someone on them). All the above were on or near the red XC loop.

I don't recall seeing any north shore, other than in the skills area..

There were wooden constructions in the skills/sudo DH area, like wall rides, drops/jumps etc
