Visiting the outlaws over the weekend and I'm going to drop by Sherwood Pines. Just wondering if there is a bike wash? Cannot remember seeing one last time.

You'll need one after the awful weather we've been having!! Was a mud fest the last time I visited in the winter time

Not as such no, but there is a tap & concrete area, so if you take a bucket & brushes with you, you should be able to do something.
It's really nice in some places, but nasty in others & really slippery.

I'll be there tomorrow and I have a dirtworker. Come and say hello if you spot me tall-ish, beard, rigid DirtyJo with HS33s and one gear.

i was there early october and it was a pure mudfest. afterwards i asked one of the ranger/ warden type fellas about a bike wash and he kindly (?) pointed me to the back of a shed where there was a trough which collects rain water from the roof.

bloody cold on the hands, but cleaned the bike, well, cleaned it enough anyway ๐Ÿ˜€

I'd go and find the off-piste stuff as the Kitchener is awful at the moment (based on my visit this Wednesday), there were four sections closed due to logging etc and others were a mess. Got bored and cold and buggered off back to Center Parcs for a beer!

Sounds like it will be fun then! Andrewh may take you up on that offer. I'll be riding a bright red 853 SS inbred, see you out there
