So i have a work course at the end of the month and ill have the weekend free, more than likely ill bring the hardtail as i don't want to leave the bid bike in the van so much due to its cost.

Looking for ideas of trails etc for over that weekend.

Cheers all.

Worth mentioning that you'll only be a mile or so from Parkwood Springs - a 2km circuit of fun singletrack - which is excellent for a quick blast in the evening

As a local I would not go to Parkwood on my own-

Just saying!

What sort of riding do you like?

DH tracks = greno and wharny which you can do together although a lot of the best bits of wharny are hard to find.

Lady cannings basically swoop blue grade.

Unless you know the dry winter routes - now also pretty wet the Peaks is a mudfest.

This is quite a nice xc style route

https://www.v-publishing.co.uk/blog/v-publishing-blog/2014-06-19---free-route-download-white-peak-mountain-biking-eastern-moors.html

I did it the other week and tagged on the blacka moor route from Vertebrates dark peak book (which is worth getting).

you could cycle from your hotel to this or drive up to Lady Cannings and go from there.
