Hi, thinking I need to service my brakes as they've never been touched since new and are feeling a bit roughy / sticky. Anyone done so? Just wondered if the seal kits on CRC etc. are worth investing in at the same time rather than just giving the existing ones a clean and regrease. Presumably I'll need a tool to get the brake cylinder cover off?

Cheers for any advice, Andy.

Very simple to do & intuitive
You need a tool to take the bore cap off but I just fashioned one from a bit of hardwood that's lasted well

Sweet, did you do the whole seal change thing too? Anything else needed - particular grease type etc.?

I just use brake fluid as a lube - it's worth soaking the seals in it overnight
Others use silicone grease or Red Rubber grease - it doesn't really matter TBH
