Anyone got or seen a guide to this?
The hub:
2 end spacers (presumably shaped similar to the ones on hope bulb hubs)
2 bearings
1 spacer in the center between the bearings
no 'axel' as such.
The end spacers are retained somehow in the hub, like the ones on hope hubs they seem 'lose', but unlike hope there's no circlip evident, somehow they seem to be retained in the hub by the hub itself! Presumably once those are out its straight foreward. Should I just hit them from the inside and see if anything gives? Or is something threaded/glued together?

Definately not a shimano hub, its cartrige bearings. The model number is soemthing like "LP-20 front hub", but I'd be confident in guessing its comes out of some tiawanese catalogue and not somethign they've doen themselves.
For anyone googling and finding this thread, apprently there is a circlip, its inside the spacer/cone shaped bit and you get at it from inside the hub, poke the screwdriver through, get it between the outer/cone shaped spacer and bearing and twist inwards to get it out.
