Any one any idea whit the cost is to send a bike abroad with any couriers. I go to stay with friends every year in Turkey and have done a lot of running in the hill and would love to take a bike as any hire ones are shite and would probably fall to bits and taking a bike as luggage with 2 kids and other luggage is not really an option. So I am thinking about having it sent out before I go. Post is not an option as it would probably never be seen again.

I have recently sent frames to France, Italy and Spain, used Interparcel every time and no problem.
Look on their web page you can get a quote, I chose Fed Ex each time with insurance for around £40/45.
Always use them when selling frames or bikes in this country because they use UPS.
Of course I'm only sending one way, I would worry about sending back to UK from Turkey?
Matt.
