The annoying squeek coming from my saddle is too annoying now I am considering ditching the saddle, which I am not keen to do as it was a gift. Before I do, what have I missed to try to get rid of the damn squeek?
Conditioned the saddle with leather conditioner
Removed saddle, cleaned it, cleaned the rails.
Changed seatpost - It was on a Race Face seatpost, is now on a Hope Eternity seatpost so its clamped in a different place.
Just googled to explain that it is a Selle Italia Diva [url] http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?PartnerID=79&ModelID=25477 [/url] - damn expensive too, I definately am not keen to ditch it for something else.
Any ideas?
see where the rails enter the saddle body ?
fill that with silicone sealant ...
But if you fix your squeak, I'll have to fix my tick!
We do indeed make for a tuneful ride - click, squeek, click squeek. The squeek is sooo annoying though.

I have a mate and a regular STW forum contributor, with a SI Flite, which has creaked so loudly with every pedal stroke that it sounds like an old rocking chair ! He has ridden it this way every ride for over a year. It used to be annoying now its just soothing 😉
