[Closed] Seized SRAM brake pin

it's a screw in one with Hex head - tried loads of penetrating oil but the b@gger won't shift. Haven't rounded it (yet........)

any ideas?

Heat and shocking it are the two main things

Slightly larger torx bit - bit of bashing with a small hammer to get it seated - that will do it. Then discard and fit a new one, either with lube or loctite on the threads to prevent future seizing..

Alternatively you could try tweaking it slightly tighter and looser alternately in order to break the bond..

Managed to shift it with a ratchet and Allen head socket instead of just an Allen key - just.....

Glad you got it sorted mate. I had that once. Used an impact driver thing you hit with a hammer. Worked though.😁
