Can any kind Hebden/Calderdale folks share a bit of local knowledge with me, it would be much appreciated.
I’m looking for the location of the start point of the bit of trail over the moors from StoodLey pike direction to head down towards Kebab run. I normally drop down horseshoe road and this combination looks much more interesting. A clipping of a strava route combining both would be great.
Also once I’ve dropped down kebab run would it be a good idea to climb back up horse shoe lane and do Ernie’s tunnel of love back down again, is this the best way of hitting both trails?
Come down from the pike, don't go through the gap in the wall but follow it around over the board walks. Through or over another gate then where the track forks, take the left or the slither of path between the L and R options, both will lead you eventually to the top of kebab Street. From the bottom of there just shoot back up Spencer Lane to the top of Crow Nest / Ernies.
