Is it the same as the Soul, 29.8 or 30.0?
I am using a 30.0 at present but the Thomson post keeps slipping!

Yup - 31.8 is right.
I use a Thomson post with my Soda - it's not a particularly tight fit so need to adjust the clamp carefully, but no problems otherwise. Try a different clamp?
It's your Thomson post. They almost all come in undersize, and those nice pretty ribs on the seatpost get machined off very quickly if you're a saddle dropper and use a steel or ti frame. Steel and ti are much harder than aluminium and they wear the post down. It only take a tenth to make it slip. Get a new seatpost with a smoother finish.
