Managed to scratch the stanchion on my Reverb yesterday.
Is it likely to cause any issues in the same way as a scratch on a fork?
Should I get out the wet n dry and nail polish or just keep going until it develops the reverb drop of death?
It’s 3 years old and doesn’t owe me!

It's not that critical,it only moves through the topcap bushing, maybe lower one too if it's marked low down. Do just as you say deburr it/smooth it .It'll work just fine.
