Hi

I have a Spark with the DT Nude rear shock. I recently had it serviced, but ended up with a full-reconditioned replacement shock (long story!) and it just didn't feel like the old used to! It felt as if there was too much compression damping, and almost to the point of stiction on repeated 'bounces' of the rear end/shock. So it was sent back and and rebuilt again, but it still feels the same... I took the aircan off and compressed the shock a few times, just to rule out stiction on the aircan seals, and it still feels the same.

I never actually had original Nude shock from brand-new, so never experienced what a brand new Nude shock feels like. So am I just going through what is a long run-in process? - previous to the latest rebuild, the (reconditioned) shock was run for probably 20hrs total riding. And after a while off the Spark, and riding a Genius, have I just forgotten that the Nude rear shocks do have a lot of compression damping as standard!

btw I've also ruled out issues with the bearings/swing-arm.
