Is the Scott Scale 899 the world's lightest production MTB?
Need to know for an article I'm writing.
Thanks!
Nic

I thought as complete bikes go, the Cannondale Flash Carbon SI team replica was the title holder (16.8lbs complete in size med)?

IIRC, real word weight for frame, lefty carbon SL, Headset, SI stem, Hollowgram chainset (with XX spider and rings), ceramic BB30 BB and SI seatpost was sub 7lbs.

Do you mean frame or bike - as there is a difference...

Flash Team Ultimate thingy is lighter, it depends a little on what you call production, but it's a safe statement to say that's the lightest.
