Just wondering
For me its schrader on the mtb and presta on the road, the only reason i can think of is habit.
presta, means all my pumps are usable on all bikes, including road and mountain.
Schrader for show, presto for a pro.
Presta, the little nut on the valve means it's always easy to get the pump on.
Presta for me because I run a home made tubeless set up. If I do get a puncture (only 2 in 4 years), I can undo the Presta valve and fit a presta tube without disturbing my rim strip (20" tube cut to fit)simples ๐
Presta for the same reasons as Mrmo.
I'm a valve niche whore.Woods or regina for me.brainwashed masses.
Presta for commonality. Except on the unis as they came with schraeder, I haven't yet got round to changing them (or doing a tubeless conversion, which is what I'm most likely to do with the muni), and nowadays I have pumps which do either without too much trouble.
