Looking to replace short travel full suss frame with hardtail.
Can't decide between scandal 29er and soul.
It the scandal 29er "fun" to ride, jump or is it a bit of a hand full in the tight twisty stuff..

I would say teh Scandal is more race ready than the Soul which is a bit more designed to take bigger hits.
A better comparison would be the 456 and the Soul.
I loved my Scandal 29er for everything for enduro races to trail centers but it was much more fun on long rides with techy bits here and there.
err they arent that similar. The scandal is a lightweight race frame. I just built one and love it. It cant go past 100mm travel if im correct. The soul my brother is running at 140mm i think for descents and its quite a heavy machine built for hits.
