Anyone got a guide to removing the pivot axle on the new superlight frame?
Guides on Santa Cruz website all seem to be for the previous version with pinch bolts.
Thanks
It requires a specific drift. Tbh it's easy to leave the outer race in the frame which is a sod to get out. Either get your lbs to do it or buy the specific tool in case this happens. I think it's one they sell for the bullit but check with jungle, they are very helpful.
Thanks BIkeneil, frame now different to the one in the guide. No longer has the pinch bolts on the swingarm. Will contact Jungle at the beginning of the week.
Frame bearings have only lasted 6 months. Is that normal??
I remember reading somewhere that the single pivot frames had lifetime warranty on bearings.
Moray, no thats not normal unless you have done ridiculous mileage. My old mans lasted over a year and he rides almost every day. His butcher ones went quick, turned out to be a loose shock bolt causing premature wear.
