I bet the BB height is still higher than my Ion15 in low. I reckon it'd be fine.
Perhaps they mean fork clearance issues associated with the crown and down tube. Can't see it myself though.
The Nicolai Ion 16 drops by 9mm between high and low and it doesn't make a mess of the riding, just makes it handle better IMHO.
A long as the fork crown clears the DT it would be fine. Do you know what the BB height is, take account of the tyres you would use compared to a standard tyre supplied and if the Bb is higher than 333mm you'll be reet.

Seems to be a long waiting list for the frame anyway at the moment.
I've pretty much decided to save up for a 650b wheel set and use my Fox 36s when I do get the frame.
I noticed Neil Donaghue used these forks on his Bronson recently (albeit Mojo tuned) so I guess they will be fine.
