Would be a fun all-rounder for the UK.

Looks to be a very interesting bike, 650b trc. Perfect for UK riding.

I'm disappointed with that too. But perhaps you could at least fit one of those wee compass stem caps..?

I feel so inadequate knowing that I visited Torridon on a 26" wheel bike... ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

Yep you could have smashed it on inch and a bit bigger wheels.

There's no way you could ride that on 29"wheels either, looks like 650b really is the future.

Looks very nice. 650 does seem to be inching its way along...

Peaty still makes the wheels appear to be tiny

Sounds like a nice bike - but secretly hoping this means that blur tr will be discontinued and sold off really cheap...

125mm at the back end is a good amount I reckon, But liKe all Santa Cruz frames it will be epically expensive ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

As for 650b V's 29er it's one of the reasons I won't be buying a bike for the next year or more till is settles down a bit....that and my retro no longer made (2011) carbon 100mm 26er is so perfect I have no need apart from shiny shiny sindrome!!!!

It's actually a 26" wheel TRc with 2.5" tyres on it.

Chips put it well when he said 650b was for people with a short travel 29er who want a long travel bike and can't bring themselves to go back to a 26" wheeled bike. Or for people who can't bring themselves to ride a 29er.

Hmm, could you actually stick 26" wheels with big tyres on it?

Some of the Santa Cruz boys were racing them yesterday. I couldn't tell tbh, they just looked like Blurs. No idea whether Andy Barlow switched bikes or not, they need wheel stickers that say "EVER SO SLIGHTLY BIGGER, GET EXCITED!"

But I did overtake that Chris Ball on one so I think that resolves the 650B vs 2.5s on 26 inch issue for good, non?
