Booo!
Carbon Superlight would've been nicer 🙁
Their designer has been looking at a Cannondale brochure for too long.

or that Anthem Sim had on test.
That's actually quite nice
Yup, I like it too.
$5,999

🙂
Ha!I posted this before it was on the front page though!
That paint job is minging. What were they thinking of?
Hmm... maybe time to resurrect my "Are bikes starting to look the same?" threads.
I can't help but feel it's another company jumping on the carbon bandwagon.

Was that after jumping on the Rear suspension, front suspension, aluminium, 9-speed, external BB, clipless, UST, disk, etc etc bandwagons?
depends on if better, means all black dull looking bike shocker.
LOL at the tag 😆

One of the nice things about VPP systems are that the pivot points are all nice and close to big junctions. Superlight would have needed a lot more carbon throwing at it.
Better dull black than looking like every other Spesh, Trek and 'dale.
true thats why Ibis seems to have the Carbon thing nailed, as they make good looking bikes in interesting colours.
As I should imagine this will be in the Ibis price range (especially in this country), I know what I would pick.

$5,999. Which, given the exchange rate, import duties and distributor cream-off, will probably end up as.......err.....£5,999

Not jumping on the carbon "bandwagon" yourself then???
Well, at todays rates, even at USD price, plus VAT, it's over £5000.
I had assumed that the $5,999 price tag was for a full build. Frame only is $2299, so not a million miles off Ibis price
$5,999 is for the XTR build
I'm asleep. Sorry.
