lets see them, lets hear what youve got to say about them
cheers
Best bike I've ever ridden.
It suits my riding down to the ground and is happy doing everything I'm ever going to be capable of. It's the only 'do-it-all' bike I've ridden that feels like it really can live up to the tag.
I came into a bit of cash and was torn between a Nomad C and getting two bikes - a hardtail and a big bouncy one - and I'm glad I made the choice I did. It's a joy to ride XC and miles better than my old SX Trail on DH trails.
The VPP suspension is ace but it does feel quite different to an FSR or single-pivot so if you're thinking of buying one make sure you ride one first to sus it out.
In my view, it needs a coil spring to really shine - the DHX fitted to the demo bike I tried was truly awful but the CCDB I went with is supreme.
That said, the paint on mine (matt white) isn't super-tough, you'll poo your pants every time you hit rock/crash (there are a million forum posts debating the real-world strength of the frame but there's always a doubt) and you'll never have an excuse for being slow ever again (I now just point to the fact I'm getting old and fat).
It's an obscene amount of money to spend on a bike and really isn't THAT much better than something a LOT cheaper, but I love mine. Just tell your wife it's cheaper than a speedboat...
