Used to have the carbon one, ace bike, very dated now I obviously, and the pivots crack from coming unbounded from the carbon. The alloy one should be fine.

Also had one. Really liked it. Only sold it cos bigger wheels are betterer when trying to hop over millions of waterbars. The 5010 that replaced always felt a bit heavy and lifeless in comparison.

The unbending thing got fixed in later frames (I had my first frame replaced under warranty for it and the 2nd frame is still going strong for the person I sold it to ... that's going on 10 years without debonding).
