I had a little go on one, it felt steep in the carpark test.

Same geometry as the solo apparently. Think they are supposed to be fun. I looked at them in the summer, as I really liked the loom of a solo but couldn't stretch the budget. didn't get a demo but ultimately decided I'd rather have a bandit for the same money

Roughly a single pivot Solo (5010) I believe.

If it's anything like as good as the Solo I demoed, it'll be ace!

Edit: Beaten to it!

With a name like Bantam, I'm guessing replacement Superlight?

It's not a replacement for the Superlight or Heckler according to SC website. It sits exactly between them in the single pivot range.

Superlight is classed as xc with 100mm of travel, 69 head angle.
Bantam is classed as trail with 125mm travel, 68 head angle.
Heckler is classed as all mountain with 150mm travel, 67 head angle.

I didn't know anyone bought single pivot SCs ๐Ÿ˜†

Thought I'd give this a bump for the OP.

OK, partly for selfish reasons as I really like the look of these and wanted to see if anyone had tried one.
