Sanity check deore 12spd ring on slx

It looks to me like they should work together but not yet got the slx crank in hand. Will a deore 12spd direct mount ring fit a slx 12spd crank with the same chain line as a slx ring would?

I use SLX chainrings on my Deore cranks because I can't find Deore chainrings.

Ta, yeah odd that you can buy an slx ring for £25 but the only deore I've seen was £70!

I run a Deore 12 speed chainring on my SLX cranks, I'm sure I read somewhere that they weren't compatible but they work just fine with zero issues.
