Does it get really busy?
Would I get a sprinter van parked there or is there a barrier?

There's a height barrier to the car park.
Daughter went yesterday with a couple of others from the club and it wasn't too busy.

Looking on street view (May2022) the RSPB car park on Tanhouse Ave doesn't have a height barrier. The bike trails are a 15 min ride from there.

You're driving for an hour to go there.... from where? Depending where from, I'd choose a LOT of other places to ride rather than there.
