How bad are these? It comes standard on giant anthem x2 (2012) .. Was thinking of upgrading mine cheers

They're fine. Used mine for over a year. Never had any issues. It's a cartridge bearing to easy to replace if needed.
Wheelset comes in at 2000gr maybe 2050. Which isn't half bad for a set of 29ers. My Hope Pro2/Crest is 1680gr

I think they're the same as come on my XTC, assuming they are they're ok, like Weeksy says something like 2kg but they ride fairly well, you won't be blown away but they're strong and reliable. My only complaint is the Deore rear hub, it just doens't engage quickly enough and the rear hub has cup and cone bearings... not as easy going as sealed bearings!
