arrgghhhhh they ride sweet but every time i drop of a mid hieght drop they burp and try to come off the rim!
i was using them at 30psi .
anyone had the same issue

No but i have the solution. I don't do mid height drops and my tyres don't burp.

Correlation?

Nor me, although I think my definition of a "mid height" drop is a bit different to yours ๐Ÿ˜€

Swap them rubbish mavic wheels out for some stans....

Any dings on your rims? This can encourage burping.

Also, do you over inflate them to max rated pressure after installation. I found the beads on rubber queens were quite reluctant to fully engage on mine.

Are they 2.4s? Are the rims UST, tubeless ready or standard?

I'm also using crossmax SX. They are very strong, far less prone to denting than the flows and arches they have superceded. I'm running the RQ USTs (non BC) at ~38psi though.

What rims are you using? I've just bought a pair and have mavic xm819's. Wonder if its common to these rims. Going out tonight for my first ride on them.

Always seem to have to run Contis more towards the 'recommended' pressure.
