Some help required please.
My 08 coil revs are getting nowhere near full travel, in fact less than 3/4. They also seem very harsh. So I decided to strip them down. Spring leg had only a few drops of oil, other had a lot more. After checking web site the red spring is standard and for 63 to 72Kg riders. Now I weigh 80Kg without backpack. The sag seems about right, so I was wondering if changing the oil weight might make the fork a bit more supple and give so more travel? Any ideas please. Also how the **** do you find the right setting for the rebound? mine is about two turns from fully closed.
Thanks Steve.

Well I took everyone's advice and serviced them as per R/S instructions.
There are still 55mm from top of stanchion to cable tie, after a good ride. Any thoughts please?
Steve.

"after a good ride"

Not a demanding enough ride?
Rebound sounds VERY slow and would explain the harshness but not really the lack of travel usage
Too much oil?

The thing is they have never reached full travel from new.
Will try rebound a bit faster, to much makes it like a pogo stick.
