Hi

Just stripped the RP23 to do the ghetto mod but the guides I have read all refer to removing the c-ring off the can which mine doesn't appear to have.

It's off a 2010 Flux which blows through the travel for fun.

What are my options with this type of can. Fox reducer spacers ?

Thanks in advance

Stu

Standard volume air can doesn't have them, the mod is in reference to the HV cans with have an extra sleeve that removeable.

Thanks LoCo,

I didn't realise that it's not an appropriate mod for this type of can.

What other options are open to me bar changing the shock?

Spacers would make it ramp up more. Or more compression damping (a job for professional).

If it's a low/low (comp/rebound) tune, that's the right one for the bike, is it still feeling a little lacking in support mid end of the stroke, with correct sag set?
If so a small or medium air volume spacer maybe the answer.
Saying that if it hasn't had a full service in the last 12 to 18 months, the oil may have 'gone off' a bit and damping is less effective which won't help or it may have got a bit of nitrogen charge in the oil.

Yeah i'd say its due a service.

Can you mail me the details of how much it'll cost me with and without a small / medium spacer please LoCo. Id be looking at sending it to you in about a fortnight.
