Anyone know of any good routes in the Langholm/Hawick/Selkirk areas? It looks to be ideal MTB country all the way up to Galashiels and beyond.

Langholm?

Isn't Newcastleton a couple of minutes away?.

Selkirk:

"The Three Brethren" is a nice route. I started at Innerleithen but no reason you couldn't ride it from Selkirk

Yep plenty. Strava find segments rides and local riders. Routes a plenty will open up.

Also take a look at the Trailforks app, that shows you pretty much ALL the trails in the area, and there are loads.

I don't know the more xc/go places side of things so well down there but there's great riding in Yair that you can ride into easily from Selkirk... Obviously you've got the Tweed Valley Offpiste Awesomeness if you like riding "stages" rather than "journeys", sort of thing.
