Took some friends out today around the blue and a bit of the red at Sherwood Pines. They seemed pretty happy with that. Is Cannock FTD a reasonable next step? We need somewhere with cycle hire as well so I can't just drag them around the Peaks just yet.

yep FTD has a little more gradient and tighter singletrack than Sherwood's red, also try Thetford (red or black) as it has bike hire as well.
