I have just started working in Hemel Hempstead and with the light evenings hopefully not too far away it is tempting to try and get out and ride from the office.
Can anyone suggest any routes that start out from Hemel? I did have a copy of the rough ride guide but it's gone missing

From hemel you could head out to gaddesden and then do a loop around Ashridge.

As previously said Gaddesden row to Whipsnade then across via Edlesborough to ashridge. I used to live in Hemel but managed to escape I've stravad a few rides if you want to have a look.

Potten End is a good place to aim for, it's the corner of the Ashridge area closest to Hemel. Bit of a maze of small trails to start but once you link a few up there's good rides to be found.
