I am heading over to France at the end of the month and planning on doing a couple of road routes.
What app would you recommend to download to my iphone for turn by turn nav? Ideally it needs to work offline, as I do not fancy 4hrs of data roaming.
In an ideal world I could envisage an app which keeps the screen blank but shows up a notification when a turning is coming up in order to maintain battery life.
I was hoping to get a garmin 800 or simiar, but realistically I can't afford that [i]and[/i] my holiday and I know which I would prefer.
Do you have any recommendations?
